Scott Kelby's books have always been a go-to.

I have heard good things about Lesa Schneider's
Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CC for Photographers Classroom in a BookIt is the official Adobe book for the software and seems to ba as good as ever.

thanks for the tips. still have not be able to test out 85mm 1.8 yet but will not be long before i do.
