I don't know if I'm stepping out of line here, but since no one has started the thread for this week I'll do it. ;)

Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 23 June 2019, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Thanks for stepping up, Bengan! I've been traveling for the last couple of weeks (I even passed through Bobby's area and was surprised by now green and beautiful New Jersey was) and didn't have the internet access I thought I would. I always appreciate it when folks pick up my slack.

And what a bunch of awesome bird photos. Loved the bird theme--and Tony's lone flower! You guys always impress the heck out of me. I've tried photographing birds--need LOTS more practice. It's much harder than it looks.

I did enjoy it! I wish I had had more time there. I was at a conference in Princeton for a few days, and then my family joined me to do a few touristy things like visit the Jersey Shore (Asbury Park and Belmar) and the Game Vault in Morristown. Oh, and we also visited the Thomas Edison National Historical Park in West Orange (so cool!!! have you been there?), and of course we took the ferry from Jersey City to Liberty and Ellis islands. I hope there is a next time--there is so much we didn't get to see and do. Seems like a pretty great place.

I didn't have my good camera with me for much of the trip, so I may not share too many photos (whenever I get around to processing them).
