Hello fellow Nikondians
Here is a simple question that requires a simple answer.
Scenario A
I am taking a picture of a TV screen wth my
- FX camera
- FX 70-300mm lens,
- standing 3 metres back
- and focus in at 100mm on the camera scale
When the picture is printed in 16inch X 9inch format then the perimeter of the TV unit reaches along all edges of the photo. Got the picture?
Scenario B
I am taking a picture of a TV screen wth my
- DX camera
- FX 70-300mm lens,
- standing 3 metres back
- and focus in at 100mm on the camera scale.
The 16inch x 9 inch print will show only part of the TV screen ...like the screen is 1.5 times as big as it really is.
Scenario C
- DX camera
- DX 70-300mm lens,
- standing 3 metres back
- and focus in at 100mm on the camera scale
Question
Will scenario C give me a 16 X 9 printed photo that looks like A, or will it look like B? or will it be something completely different?
I'm getting a comfy seat and some popcorn for this one.
Regards
Rob
