For it to do the projected job it would need a range of cheaper lenses, be interesting to see if Nikon are ready to do this.

Found this on a Swedish site (ran it through Google translate):

Nikon is developing a fast mirror-free camera that corresponds to today's top model D5. It recently told Nikon's new president and chairman Toshikazu Umatate for a Japanese industry magazine.

Next summer is the summer Olympics in Tokyo and Canon, Nikon and Sony are all expected to make new top models available to the photographers who watch the races.

It has flourished several details that a fast mirror-free top model is underway from Nikon. This is now confirmed by Nikon's CEO and Chairman of the Board, Toshikazu Umatate, in an interview with Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun magazine.

Toshikazu Umatate says nothing about the specifications more than it is a mirror-free top model in class with today's Nikon D5. It is also said nothing about when the camera will come out in the market, but we can for good reason assume that it comes before the summer Olympics in Tokyo 2020.
