Sigma 17-50 f2.8 OS VS sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4 ?

Hi everyone, currently in a bit of a dilemma. I'm looking at buying one of these lenses for just a general walk around lens, will be using it from portraits to landscapes to video work. i will be using it on the d7200. just wondering what people experience is using either lenses.

I've used the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 on my D7100 and D500 and it is tack sharp. I've not tried the 17-70, so I'm not sure how it compares.
