D5300 ISO desconfigurates by itself

The ISO-A is havig issues, it changes the configuration by itslef, I set it to 200 and it goes right up to 8000 or 10000 even, it changes either alone or after I touch any other type of setting, and sometimes even while I'm taking photos. Does anyone know what are the potential solutions for this? I was thinking a full reset for this camera, would that be the solution?

Check your menu and see if ISO is set to Auto, if it is then what you see is normal.  The ISO will adjust depending on the scene/light.

ISO-A stands for Auto mode. In auto mode the camera will choose from the « minimum » set value (fi. you set it to 200) a higher ISO value if needed, combined to the Aperture or Shutterspeed setting, in order to achieve a good exposure.

In the camera Menu you should have a setting called ISO sensitivity setting. Here you can allow for the mode to be Auto. Moreover you can set a maximum acceptable ISO value to you (as well as a minimum exprcted shutter speed).
The maximum acceptable value to you and your camera is when you feel the grain starts to be to important.

My proposal to you is to leave ISO-A on, and set the default to 100 and the maximum somewhere close to 800-1600; and min shutterspeed 1/60.
