Hey everyone! I have a noob question. I have a D2x Nikon and I want to get a flash for it. I have no idea what flash to get. I know its a D TTL, I haven't found a flash yet that says anything about supporting D TTL.

Please help :)

If I remember correctly, D-TTL was the first flash system for digitals. The models were the SB-28DX, the SB-50DX and the SB-80DX. SB-600 and SB-800 are backwards compatible, but not the SB-700, 900 and 910. A SB-800 or a SU-800 can be used as a CLS Master for the newer flashes, though. The old DX flashes won't work on a new Nikon except for on full manual. I would either go the Strobist way with whatever manual flash you can get or try to find a SB-600 or SB-800 that hasn't been abused.

I have a D2Xs, and I use a Nikon SB-800 Speedlight (I actually have two of them). Works great.
