Ok Folks,

Was in a shoot yesterday with D3300 with a 18/300 lens. Suddenly ALL the Buttons FROZE up.

Shutter and focus still work BUT CANNOT

Access the Menu, Review,  Zoom, Scroll,or any other button and the back.

Can adjust the Aperture but CANNOT change Shutter Speed or ISO.

It will take a photo but Cannot view it.

Have Changed fro Manual to Auto and even the Guide. But back buttons do not work.

Any Ideas on how to correct this?

Thanks

Wally

Pull the battery, then put it back in after a few seconds and see if you're able to regain control of the camera.

This was a frequent problem with my P600. Pulling the battery and then reinserting always regained camera controls.

The camera was probably psychic!    It always seemed to happen when I was attempting rapid photo shots (action shots).

Please check firmware to see if it up to date? One thing working in the IT field is to update firmware and drivers. This usually solves 99+ percent of the issues.
