Ive seen start up guides on using snapbridge for remote recording on a b500 but when I try it gives me an error and theres also no option I see for remote recording despite seeing it in this online guide Remote Video Recording with Live View | SnapBridge Help | Nikon

Must admit to being confused here, is this saying you can do stills but not movie

I'm having a similar issue. With IOS I'm not seeing the movie button after wifi is enabled, just the photo button.   I didn't see your post when I searched so I put out a similar post today.

This is for everyone using trying to do video capture with Snapbridge.

 

I spent a couple hours on the phone with Nikon support trying to figure out why Nikon insturction on how do video capture with Snapbridge and my D500 don't seem to work.   There is a NIKON help page that shows how to do video capture with Snapbridge, unfortunately, the URL for that page is of the form https://nikonimglib.....html. This address is sourced from NIKON INDIA.  The page's video capture instructions do not apply to U.S. versions of Nikon cameras.
