Today I was out shooting for a little more that three hours. I fully charged two OEM Nikon Lithium Batteries and brought them both with me.
Towards the end of the day, I checked the shutter count and it showed 132 snaps. I then checked camera's battery power level indicator and was quite surprised that it was nearly depleted. Now, I do always use a tripod, so I always use the Self-Timer as well, but only for 5 seconds, 2 seconds if it is quite breezy, even indoors.
I did not use any flash of any sort and I do not turn the camera off and on between shots. Is it possible that the Self-Timer draws more juice than I anticipated, or is it time for a new battery?
Thnx for any and all assistance.
