I'm thinking about upgrading from an Olympus camera to the Nikon Z7 but already have a 30mm 1.4 Sigma lens which I'd like to keep and use on the Nikon as there are adapters available to buy. However, as my Olympus is a four-thirds camera and the Nikon is full frame I was wondering if this would affect the quality or aperture etc? Are there restrictions with using an adapter?

Isn't the image circle to small for FX? The versions for Nikon and Canon are both DX lenses. I think it would probably vignette and only the center part would be usable.

here deal with nikon full frame body's and Z series body's that are not crop body's. the lens will act as DX lens. so if and lens you have will be like that lens. since will cause to act like  four-thirds. you see what mecro_61 said photo will not look right around board of it.
