I'll tell ya, just when I think I've seen and heard it all, this actually happened to me today.

I do have two Nikon D200s, one has just under 95,000 actuations and the other has 28,856 actuations.  I could not comprehend why I was getting my settings wrong and not ashamed to admit it, getting quite frustrated at the same time.

Well, lo' and behold, the settings for shutter and aperture are completely the opposite.  How could this possibly happen?

Were modifications made in the later model?  I could not locate the manufacture date on both bodies, however I understand that production began in 2006.

As my close, personal friend Yogi Berra once said:  "You can observe a lot, just by watching." :) I should say so.

Thanks for reading and of course, any input will greatly appreciated.

Rgds,

Tony

Do you mean that the front and back wheel are reversed. If so that is a setting in the menu. If not, then please explain what you mean. Perhaps it is obvious to a D200 owner, I don't know.

If it is the main and secondary control wheel that have changed place, the setting is under custom function f5.

Interesting that as soon as I turned on my computer, that thought came to me.  So basically, there is no default setting, just what the owner wants it to be.

Thanks very much Peter.
