Malice, there is no offense taken by your commentary. How you feel personally is your own business. Even in Germany you have Free Speech and should you decide to express your love for your country, regardless of what the symbol is, that is your right to Free Expression. What is offensive (again, I believe that NS Did not intend to be offensive) is when someone who lives in a Free Society, expresses his/her feelings/passion toward their country and someone who does not live in the same country, says something akin to: "Oh, I just hate that, I hate it when someone does that, because in my opinion they should think the way I do." Yeah, right. Are you kidding me or what?
In other words, what different does it make as to what the symbol is? A flag, a mud fence or a broken down automobile. We do not worship the flag because it is a flag, but what it inspires us to feel toward our own land.
Remember during the Second World War, we had another flag. It was a flag with a coiled up King Cobra ready to strike. The caption at the bottom of the flag Read:
"Don't Tread On Me." In other words, F-----you Hitler, Tojo and Mussolini. That flag was very inspirational and I believe important in our being victorious in that horrible world wide conflict. 50 million people died, for one crazy politician.
Thanks for reading.
