Hi all,

A Nikon noobie after many years of Canon use. I was given a D750 gratis and now I'm going through the delights of lens purchase. My Canons were crop-frames and the chance to get my hands on an excellent full frame was too much to pass up.

I do landscape primarily and did a lot of night-time photography with a friend's full-frame Canon (a 5D Mark III) so wondered what the consensus is on the best lens for this.

Budget will play something of a factor but I'm in it for the long haul and see scant reason to scrimp on glass. I made that mistake before. If I have to save for a time I'll do it.

I've narrowed my choices down to the following three lenses:

Nikon 16-35mm f/4

Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G

Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8

What do you think of each? From reviews it looks like I can't go wrong with any of the 3. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Cheers,

Ray
