Wow. Impressive!

I still have a romantic attachment to film photography.

Thank you both... the 24 is an Ai'd version and so far hasn't translated well to the D600; the AiS 35/2 is equally super on the D600. I don't shoot slides often... and of late not even color print so much, getting the film developed is just enough of a hassle that it keeps me shooting b&w. Well, and now that I have the D600, I haven't shot film in a while.

I like this set of images. The second and the last are the pick of the bunch for me. I like the quality of the light in the second and the viewpoint of the last image.

I just sold my FA & FM but still have my F100 & going back to film. Know a good place to buy Velvia @ Provia film?

I think I still have a couple of rolls around, but I haven't even looked at slide film for 3-4 years now. I'm sure B&H or Adorama will show you what's still available.

Once upon a time there was Kodachrome film, 25, 64 and 200. While it was available most professionals, myself included shot Kodachrome. It was perfect color film. Only a limited number of processing labs were outfitted to do the very special processing that it required. When Kodak stopped, Fuji moved in with E 6 processing. Many pros, like me made the move to Fuji Velvea, in both the 50 and 100. Sensia was the lower cost film Fuji marketed as oppose to higher costing Velvia. Sensia is a good film for slides.

Back when I was shooting for an entertainment magizine I only shot Fuji for color and Ilford for B&W. Both superior product then, and now. I have always been disappointed with Kodak films.

I have some SENSIA 100  loaded in an FE  right now - dated 2003 but kept in 'fridge' I also use an 81A filter to counteract the Blue Cast the Old Film will have.
