The talent show "Livekarusellen" has started for this year. Bengt (bengan) had taken the train from Stockholm up to Uppsala and we met up at the venue. This first evening was a bit short as four of the seven acts had to cancel because of flu or bad colds.

Neither of us have culled or edited our shots yet, but here are three teasers.

This is my first attempt at event photography since 1979 when I shot a dance competition. Shooting indoors without a flash is a new and very educational experience.

Punk music is really not my thing, but gives ground for spectacular photography... So here is my contribution.

And this little guy had a very healthy approach towards loud music  :D

Given the lighting conditions, you both pulled it off very well! :P

I used an 105/ DC on the D700 for most of the shots and a Tamron 17-50/2.8 on the D7200.

Really like the last photo.  Shows movement and energy.
