What is the issue you see?

If it is the rubber bat you mean, that is an artifact from the shutter not opening and closing at the same time over the whole sensor. The shutter sweeps over the full surface, just like the focal plane shutter of a DSLR. This means that the bat is not in the same place when the exposure reaches it. The distorted ball is caused by the same characteristic.

Agree with Merco electronic shutters are not great for action shots due to the way they work

This was college softball game. So no plastic bat. Also every even peopel where showen bent looking too. I had on gen 1 tamron 150-600mm and turn on electronic few shoots and then turn it off. Main question is why did stay on. Do not understand why electronic shutter stayed on or what caused it. Still learning some gave me video and link to page that both talk about it. But still confused. Do I leave electronic shutter on or off

Found out issue and it was not electronic shutter at all. For some reason when your in silence mode cause camera make pictures cartoonish like so no more silence mode for photo. Also no issue with tamron gen 1 150-600mm bu fact act like MF lens on body. So for some reason will not autofocus on Z6 but if have on DSLR body it will and love fact making learn how to shoot manual when shooting. But hate fact only have square af for focusing. And how spot on have to have green or some what out focus or bullry

How do you think the silent mode is achieved?

In that mode, the camera uses a fully electronic shutter, not only the front curtain of one. This makes the rolling shutter problem much worse than in EFCS.
