I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the following:
I own a Nikon D200 with Nikon DX af-s 18-135mm 1:3.6.56GED lens.
I would like to take advantage of my D200 for photogrammetry - close & far.
My plan is to use the lens I have for distant photogrammetry, after hopefully storing the settings.
Can anyone please advise on what lens would I need for close photogrammetry?

How close? What reproduction scale at the sensor are you looking for, and at what distance?

You need a lens with very little distortion to get any precision. This would point towards using a true macro lens. I would probably go for one of the Zeiss Milvus lenses or the old repro favourite Ai MicroNikkor 55/3.5 if the working distance is suitable.
