Hi everybody, first post.

While going nuts trying to make SnapBridge work with my D7500, I found another issue that worries me more: the top LCD won't go off unless I take the battery out.

Someone had this problem? It's sucking the battery. Tried a full reset, but the camera stays with the "resetting..." text forever and when I finally take the battery out, place it again and power on the camera, all my settings are still there.

Any idea on what's going on?

Thanks!

You're not the first one to report that and the last time no one had an answer for the problem either.

No, talked to the dealer. I'm past the return point, but after a couple of jobs the camera will go to service. If they can fix it, OK, if they don't then they'll have to replace the camera.

What i'm doing as a workaround for the battery drain problem is taking the battery out after powering down, then the Top Panel goes off and everything is, say, normal.

I still can't use SnapBridge, but I wouldn't trust it anyway for serious work, so for now I'm pretending I have a camera that doesn't have wi-fi...

Just an update. Camera finally went to service, I'll update the thread as soon as I get it back with info on either the connectivity problem is solved or not.
