Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 3 February 2019, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

I really want to reach out and touch that little sheet of water coming up and around the gull...

Yes… it has that plastic (art sense!) visual to it! :P

Thank you very much. This Sony sensor is really very good and both Nikon and Pentax makes really good use of it.

Sorry man… I know I may appear to be a pain in the…

but the expression of the DR has nothing to do with the sensor — it
has full hands being busy recording what ever YOU set it up to do
and how.

Once in the converter, the recording needs to be processed and, there
again, YOU have to apply the tweaks you see as your artistic intent.

This is only possible as YOU are responsible of the quality of the said
recording and are guilty of the artistic intent.

The tool has little to do in the final work of the craftsman and that's why
tools are not seen at a vernissage.

No pain what so ever, I really appreciate your feedback.

I know it's how you (or in this case, I) use it and what you make of it, but it really helps if the tool gives you a good start. I have used other cameras with other sensors that has given me less to work with. At the same time I'm fully aware of that the camera as such doesn't make me take better photos.

We visited a Civil War Park near Fredericksburg, VA today.  I was hoping to capture something to contribute to Peter's B&W challenge.  This one is not converted to black and white but is kind of monochrome.

I made a panorama shot today of the Grand View section of the Colorado National Monument.  Haven't produced a pano in a long time.

D750, Nikon 24-70 f2.8, 24mm, iso 400, f10, 1/2500. Stitched together in Light Room.
