Anyone else surf Instructables.com for great DIY projects, tips, and gear?

They have a huge photography section where you can learn to build a simple flash diffuser to a full studio. Add in the tips and how-to's and you've got an amazing source of information as well. If have haven't seen this site... check it out ASAP!

I made one of the flash diffusers, the one made from fab foam. It's my standard diffuser now!

Thanks Afterimage, this is the first time I have come across this site. The only problem that I can see, is the time I am likely going to spend wandering around looking at the various parts of it.

Yeah, that website is pretty awesome. Tons of how-to's, DIY projects, articles, and project ideas about anything you can think of.

I'm cheap so yes I have. I made a IR trigger that connected to my phone and worked as a remote. Even bought a little box to make it look nice. Easy and really really cheap. I think it was about $5 total. The app cost more than the parts.
