I have an issue that is perplexing (likely because I don't understand some inherent conflict of settings).

I have one circumstance in my shooting (yes I understand advantages of off camera flash and utilize such) where I utilize flash

in TTL mode for single shots in self timer mode of 2 seconds with various other settings saved in a user function......then I switch

to M or AP to shoot AEB in that same self timer mode.

The issue I have, is that when the flash is in the hotshoe (on or off) the bracket set fires with a 2 second time delay, however if the flash

is not in the hotshoe, with no other setting changed, the bracket set fires with the desired 2 second delay from time of pressing the shutter

and the desired setting of .5 seconds between shots.

Anyone have a clue what I don't have a clue about?

Thanks.
