Pink tinge down the side of my images

My camera has developed a fault giving me a pink tinge down the right side of my photos. I'm wondering if its a light leak. I plan on replacing it sometime soon but would like to pass it on to a family member so I'm hoping its something that can be fixed. Any thoughts anyone?

If you are talking about the D7100 I would rather suspect faulty memory card than a light leak. As Peter wrote, sample photo will help
