Can anybody recommend some of the top, most legit, sites for selling photographs?

(longtime photographer  -- 30+ years  --  and proud owner/user of Nikon D810 )

Many Thanks.

I use SmugMug.  I've been very happy with the ease of use and support.  They offer several plans, but you will need the "Portfolio" plan or higher to create price lists and get set up to sell.  The top plan offers the ability to apply different price lists to different photo galleries which would be a nice feature to have, but I don't sell enough yet to justify the difference in plan cost.  I purchased a domain name through Go Daddy so that my web site address doesn't have "smugmug" in the URL.  It's easy to set up but maintaining your own domain is an additional cost.  There is a forum at SmugMug / Digital Grin Photography Forum that may offer some additional info.

Another is Zenfolio.  I have used both and neither is perfect.  Again it depends on what level of package you purchase, but Zenfolio also allows for the creation of "sales" or specials that you can provide that I never found on SmugMug.  As an example, a customer wanted to order a number of my images so I provided her with a coupon that gave her a discount if she purchased over a certain number of images and sent it off to her.

I also preferred the "old way" that SmugMug had for image handling.  I have had a hard time navigating their new setup.  It isn't bad - it just isn't as intuitive to me as I had used the older style extensively.  So, I don't need both and I decided that Zenfolio works better for me for the photography I am doing these days.
