I am having an issue with my D7100. I went to take photos of an event last night and discovered, to my slight horror, that my SB-910 will only fire in Auto mode. I tried cleaning the hot shoe and the flash contact with isopropyl alcohol but the problem persists. Today, I discovered that the problem is also occurring with the inbuilt flash only operating in Auto mode. Is there a solution or does the body have to go to Nikon Service Centre? This is a pain in the back-end as it takes weeks and my backup bodies are inferior to the D7100. :(

In the setup mode there is a link to different modes for the flash. try changing them.
