As I got into this I found a mess. Can't find the original, but I believe the first photo below is the original downloaded to my IPad. I also realized the post processing was done on my IPad using Snapseed. I use Snapseed while traveling to get a feel on what I can do with an image. When I get home I'll normally do any PP in LR. The second file is from today after PP with LR. As you have see that halo is in both photos but not as pronounced. I found when I went heavy with the Presence vibrance and saturation to bring out the colors in the rock and sand the blue in the halo grew. I then only adjusted the saturation and luminance for yellow and orange. I think this made it better but it still bothers me. I did not do any sharpening in LR and tried the CA correction in LR but it did not help.
Fletch, Thanks for the link it was very helpful.
Merco, I think picture control was on landscape but I can't be sure.
I'm not normally this bad at controlling my images and files but I'll use the excuse that I was on vacation. Without knowing how to trace my steps I certainly missed an opportunity to learn.
Thanks for the input
