I have a Coolpix P530 but can not figure out how to get at least descent action pics. It seems like the camera is functioning to slow for the movement as they turn out blurry. Anyone have any suggestions?

What ISO and shutter speed do you use in the blurry photos?
What type of action? How fast do things move?
