Another beauty from my neighbor's awesome flower garden.  This was not in any way a set up.  As the saying goes "What I saw is what I got."  :))  It is definitely one of my favorites from 2018 as I have never seen one like this in the past.

Hope you all enjoy this one again and thanks very much for viewing.

TT

This was taken in March of 2018 under some very threatening weather.  Surprisingly the flower and I both managed to survive quite well.

This was my first attempt at a Macro using my newly acquired Pentax-M 100mm Macro lens with Pentax K-50 body.  Anyone who really knows my wife and I, knows that we are incurable chocoholics and there was no way I could pass up taking a shot at the chocolateley looking center.  "Trust me, it was not chocolate." :((.

Thanks so much for viewing and hope you all enjoy.

This image was taken with my E-PL1 Olympus body (Now for sale) and 40~150mm Olympus telephoto lens.

I thought it turned fairly well, however I was overwhelmed by Tsunami of compliments I received.  The mistake in the photograph is that I did not raise the gear high enough to allow for more space in between the flower tip and the top of the viewfinder.  This is one reason the gear is for sale is that I am all thumbs when using this outfit as it just is not a good fit for me.  Anyway, hope everyone enjoys and thanks a million for viewing.

A few from last year ...

This is a shame… a shame I say, Jerry.

You are presenting pictures that prove your talent and dedication,
and cherry them up with a tasteless watermark… a shame!

May I suggest you prepare two watermarks in ".png" — that support
transparency, one in white the other in black. Both may be tweaked
in size and opacity when using them on you very good photographs.

I dig you eye and your renditions. :P
