Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 30 December 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Glad to see this guy (a Nutria) after a four months absence.
Something has changed, though, the tip of its tail is missing!

Learning the Aperture priority mode with Gimbal head and tripod inside the blind

Just enjoying being lazy and seating in a foldable chair , drinking hot coffee from a thermo and smoking cigarettes!

Learning the Aperture priority mode with Gimbal head…

Really? So you don't want to shoot action séquences?

Just enjoying being lazy and seating in a foldable chair , drinking hot coffee from a thermo and smoking cigarettes!

I'm enjoying the same but the sitting… to much action to follow!

What's that bird, Bobby?

I'm guessing a juvenile Hooded Merganser???

Here in New Jersey the temperature was 30+ Fahrenheit today, a perfect day to stay still and shooting from a tripod.
My body was tired from Yesterday because I was hiking for several hours and came back without nothing... Lol

I have no idea what kind of duck is it! Lol

Confirmed, its is a juvenile female Hooded Merganser.

I have no chance to see that here in central Europe!

That it is from you, buddy, is more appreciated than to know
the league you think you played in. Thanks for sharing! :P

While visiting family in Tennessee this week I managed to get out with the camera once.  This is the Cumberland River that runs through downtown Nashville and then out toward my parents home town.

I shot two or three that I really liked, this week. However, since I’m already late posting, I won’t compound the sin by posting a multitude as I often do!

Oh and Happy New Year. May 2019 bring you everything you need and at least some of what you want.
