So I've been using Nikon Coolpix B500 for about 2 years and its a great experience as a beginner as well as it's really handy and easy to use. Recently my camera was not switching on so I took it to the Nikon Service Centre, they said that I may need to change the batteries and suggested me to buy new 2000mAh batteries. Now when in stores there are so many options available that am confused. So which batteries I should purchase? Panasonic Eneloop, Sony, Godrej, NV, etc. (suggest one or any other brand). Well I live in Mumbai, India.

In my experience, Eneloops have the slowest self-discharge rate of the Generation 2 NiMh-s. The Ri isn't as constantly low as before Panasonic took over, but still among the best. I use them for speedlights, so matching Ri is more important than when drawing less current from them.
