Thanks for allowing me in to your forum.

Up until a couple of days ago I was using 2 cameras.

One was a Sony A77ii and the other is my Nikon P900.

I have just sold my Sony camera as I have a few health issue's  and all to do with mobility.

So it just made more sense to me to stay with the P900 as I don't need to carry extra lens to suit what I am doing.

I am still learning it but being honest its a camera that does make you lazy.

As with the Sony I was in manual close on all the time.

But I got this and set it to scene and that its.

I know I have lost megapixels but I never set out to sell shots.

So I am more than happy with what I get out of the camera now.

With the money from the sale of the Sony I am going to get the Nikon P1000.

My wife will then start to use the older one.

I did really enjoy macro but since I have got really slow I have swapped over to birds.

But anything that I don't have to bend over to get is always on the radar.

Both taken with the P900 last night

Welcome to the forums, Arthur! We're glad to have you here. Nice work with that P900--the detail in that moon shot is amazing me right now.

Velcome, and remeber that it's the flesh and blod behind the camera that makes the shots

Thanks for allowing me in to your forum…

For my part, it is not a gesture of generosity or "grandeur d'âme"

toward you, Arthur, but the pure, brutal, and raw selfishness of
"the more clowns = the more fun!" and I like fun, warm welcome!

Thanks for your welcomes to the forum.

Me and the wife have been talking about the money from the sale of the Sony should go towards the Nikon P1000

With no twisting of the arm my wife said she might like to try and use the P900.

Which I will admit to the fact I have got lazy using it as I find to use it in manual mode is just something I can't get my head around.

So if she stays in the themes she is shooting she should get some good shots.

I will try manual with the bigger one but if I find it easier to go auto then who am I hurting.
