I covered, for a national magazine, the pre-christmas arts and crafts
bazar in town. They took twelve shots but these were not selected.
Really nice work here! Will you be able to show us some of the photos that they did select?
And a couple of those guys I'd expect to see at Halloween rather than at a Christmas gathering!

Thank you kindly!
This is a line I never cross: share pictures that were sold.

These guys are only there to justify St-Nikolas presence
since the middle ages!
Thank you kindly!

For me, that depends on the kind of contract I have with the client.
I believe you did an excellent job photographing the event. Like Nicole, I wonder why even a celebration of Christmas has to be demonized. No reflection on you of course.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Tony!
In the middle ages, fears of all kinds were like daily bread: a driver for
political, social and religious interests.
Fear from the wild, the devils and the gods, the early darkness in winter.
It was in the deepest black days of the year that St-Nikolaus appeared to
take care of the monsters— representing the fears — trying to act as a
super hero that will reassure everyone. Traditions that is!
Today, as fears are not good for christmas time business, devils and their
counterparts were replaced by a red coke drinker riding wild but smily rein-
deers defying gravity pulled sleigh… well, you know.
