My first attempt with the new D7200 and Sigma 150-600 C. Handheld and through a 3-glass window, so no high expectations. It came out pretty OK.

The second one especially came out more than ok! That's darn good clarity for shooting handheld through a 3-glass window. I'm looking forward to seeing what more you do with this lens.

Thanks, the shake reduction in this lens must be pretty good. I'm usually shaking like a leaf.

Wow, that's pretty amazing then. I have the Tamron version of this lens, and I really can't shoot it handheld--if I try, I get nothing like what you've ended up with here. I've been thinking for quite a while now that I need to get a monopod just for the sake of this lens. I can use it on a tripod, of course, but it could be nice to have just a bit more maneuverability with the monopod.

I also prefer a monopod to a tripod as I'm very much into "photography by walking around". A monopod with a decent ball head or just a quick release plate
