I am trying to use a Yongnuo 568EX speedlite with a Nikon D750. From online research it seems that this flash model does not require an additional trigger but I still can't get it to work (no flash), It worked fine on my old D80. Any suggestions?

A poster at D750 with YN-568EX ii: Nikon FX SLR (DF, D1-D5, D600-D850) Talk Forum: Digital Photography Review says the yongnuo's have a habit of not fitting properly, have you checked to see if its sitting in the hotshoe correctly and the contacts are clean? Disclaimer, I have no clue about this myself just quoting a website.
