This is my 1st time on this site.  I have a Nikon D3100 SLR camera which has been working great until yesterday. I have a Tamron 70-300  1:4-5.6 lens. While using it in the Automatic focus mode, it would not focus. It would continually zoom in and then out. I ended up thinking it was something in my settings so I went through trying to figure out what was wrong no no prevail. Now when I try to use it everything works great in the Guide Setting but when I switch it to any other setting it will not let me take a photo nor does the Auto Focus work.. I assume one of the setting buttons that I pressed caused this problem but can not figure out what I did. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks
