Hi All

 

After many years of not touching a camera the P900 and now the P1000 has inspired me to get back into it.

 

I purchased the P900 mainly for assist in identifying birds and was hoping it could replace my binoculars. However the length of my arms seem to have reduced with age which proved to be a limiting factor in getting the best out of the P900 and its small EVF.

 

With the new EVF in the P1000 I can almost leave my binoculars at home and seems to be the perfect compromise for my ability and budget.

 

Looking forward to learning from everyone here to get the most out of my P1000.
