Sorry this didn't get posted last week, but please feel free to post retroactively. I've been traveling and haven't spent any time on the forums--I apologize for neglecting this duty!

Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 21 October 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

I can't decide whether I was sad about no thread last week or relieved...  It doesn't really matter, I guess.  Now that it's here I can't resist.  :)

You know me, I just had to do it.  Nice one for Halloween anyway.  This really gets a lot of chuckles.  Thanks for viewing.

Sorry, I couldn't pick just one photo. I recently ordered a Tamron 150-600 G2 for my D750 to use for some wildlife photos. Pretty much all the migratory birds have left during the last few weeks and all the wildlife that is left are the island dwellers, foxes, squirrels and voles. There are some non-migrating birds around like the various different gulls, various ducks, ravens, snowy owls and gyrfalcons but with the high northerly winds combined with rain, I haven't been out too much with my new lens to take photos with. Here are a few of Arctic Foxes, all were taken at 600mm (except the last one was at 240mm) with some cropping, f8 and ISOs in between 800-1600 to keep the shutter speeds up around 1/800.
