Hi all first post

I have just taken two  video files on my D5300 they play fine in the camera, but when I remove the sd card and view on a pc all the jpegs are there but not the video files.they have the extension .mov Where are they and how do I find them and copy them to my windows pc. (windows 7)

There must be an easy answer but nothing in the user manual, is there some software to download I have not installed the nikon software that came with the camera, do I need that?

Regards

Paul

You can try opening the SD Card in Windows Explorer and type ".mov" into the search field. Maybe they'll show up then, if they're only tugged away in some subfolder.

You can also try changing the settings of Explorer to show all files.
