Help with dust or smudeg

Hi,

 

New to the forum and looking for help ...

 

I have a D7100 with a Nikon 24-70 lens. I have noticed that some photos (not all) have what look like smudge marks. I have tried cleaning, but I don't understand why they appear in some photos only.

The first screen grab shows 3 marks, the second image the camera is pointed in same direction no marks.

The third image shows a smudge, this seems to appear in quite a few images.

 

Any help would be much appreciated.
