Hey guys, I had a quick look but I couldnt find an answer.

Im getting a Macro lens soon for my D7200 and I am wanting to get the R1C1 but I was told it is not compatible with the
D7200. I was looking at the R1 instead and saw that the SB-700 is compatible with the R1 and also the D7200.

I am just wondering, if I bought the SB-700 and the R1, will it work with my D7200?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

The SU-800 works well with the D7200, so there is no reason that the R1C1 shouldn't work. As it is compatible with the D750 that uses the same flash metering as the D7200, it has probably just been overlooked when updating the compatibility lists.

The R1 should work with the pop-up as master if you attach a SG-31R to the flash shoe.
