I have inherited a camera set up recently and want to get back into digital photography. However, my camera doesnt seem to autofocus or take shots. Of course battery is fine and in all other respects the camera works well. In fact when I turn the lense to manual mode and I focus it myself it operates well as it does in Live mode to shoot video.

My question is, its it a lense issue, camera issue or both? Its strange as it seems this lense was made for this camera?

Any help would be apreciated
