A publisher is working on a book on an artist that passed away

some five years ago and the work that spread over six decades.

I was commissioned to create a cover and a full spread that will
follow the preface of the book — I was given full access to both
the atelier and the gallery where the artist created the works.

Of the proposed images, these two were selected.

Without knowing more about the artist I like the sign better as a cover.

Tx Fletch! :P

The artist was known to be of the most welcoming kind;

that's why the door knocker was selected.

We haven't seen the layout planned for it yet!
