Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 2 September 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Because of the number of heat waves we have had to endure here in the Great Pacific Northwest, my wife's Morning Glories were late in blooming.  Now with a cooling off period, they have finally decided to take off and bloom.  I believe this one turned out quite well.  Hope you fine folks will like it also.

Thanks so much for viewing.

Pentax k-50 body with Pentax 55~300mm ED Lens, 1/60s, f/5.6, ISO 400, Manual Exposure Mode, Focal Length 300mm, no flash and used CWA Metering.

I tried linking from flickr and the forumbee site and the only way it would even link without error, was to change the photo to a jpg.

If you click the bent arrow next to the edit icon on flickr, choose bb code then copy it and past it

Hi Mark, the subject is indeed dramatic but, IMO, not so

the rendition. May I suggest to tweak the DRL to start with?
