Typical Florida sky every afternoon in the summer.

What a great photo, think it is great and what a clever approach. When you say you 'stayed only 15 secs', presume that you mean that you then moved behind the camera. Did you move quickly and I can see no trace of your presence moving on the photo.

   Sorry, I should have been more clear. I didn't move at all during the full 30 second exposure, I was able to trigger the shutter with a remote but my wife moved behind the camera after 15 seconds. She didn't move to quickly at all, that's one of the beautiful things with such a long exposure, the subject has to remain static for a while to show up.

Theses are quite literally from where I live, one with my house in Spring (October) and the other taken from my deck overlooking Cook Strait.

I'll try, it's not too inspiring to take photographs of my area. I live in the Oil Fields and there's nothing but prairies with oil rings or shrubs and small trees. Unless u want to see a hawk on a fence post?

I would like some oil field pictures. I like everything as long as you make it interesting. Everything has potential, you just have to find it. And yes I would like to see a hawk too.

Ha Tony, erm no.  Not quite the weather we have had the last week or so.  That said i did take this one on Friday mid day (ish) just 20 miles down the coast from my original.  The temp almost got into double figs
