My D7200 is using slot 2 as my default slot for pictures even though it is set up to have slot 2 as backup. Help. What do I do to change it back to slot one? Thanks in advance.

What does it do if you don't have a card in slot 2?

Can you check whether the card in slot 1 is shown as being available (you can see this on the small screen next to the shutter button)

The reason to ask this question is that occasionally when inserting an SD card, the small switch on the card which makes it write protect moves unintentionally. To fix, eject the card in slot 1 and move the switch to a read-write position.
