Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 1 July 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

This was taken last winter but I finally got around to the post processing today so I think it may count. This is the bridge over the Delaware River looking towards Stockton,NJ from the Pennsylvania side.

I hereby declare that it counts! I think I'll be doing the same thing here and there. :) I like the leading lines in your image, and the colors--the green, blue, and white really harmonize well. I like that color palette! Nice job!

I think this is my favorite from the past week.  I drove across Tennessee, making stops in five cities to upgrade some computer hardware.  My first stop was Chattanooga, where I witnessed a nice sunset in a beautiful town.  The city has converted an old bridge over the Tennessee River to pedestrian-only traffic and while I was watching the sunset these rowers were practicing on the water below.  There were 3 boat teams that went back and forth several times.  This was the only boat that moved into the sunlight reflecting on the water like this.

Here's one of the bridge I was standing on.

And one more.  The closest bridge in this photo is the bridge in the photo above.

Close to on time this week!  We got to enjoy a weekend on the water and the boys were able to come down and join us.  They had to head back to work late yesterday, but we are going to enjoy the rest of the week here.  On Saturday we picked up our boat from some repairs and enjoyed a nice ride back home on the Neuse River which was beautifully calm.  As we left the Neuse and entered the creek towards our house, there was a navigational sign post with an osprey's nest on top.  Saw Mom (or Dad) and some babies as we went by.

On Sunday, my wife and I headed out for a ride with plans to re-visit the nest and I brought along my D500 with the 70-200.  I thought about the 200-400 but knew I would be shooting from a moving boat, so I opted for the one that was easier to hand hold :)!  I shot the first image below as kind of a perspective on where the nest is - I thought the sail boat in the background helped

It definitely was not as calm as it was the previous day and there was quite a bit of boat traffic churning up the water with their wakes as well.  Considering those, I chose settings above to give me a bit of depth of field and as fast as possible to hopefully avoid catching movement from me or the boat.  We went back and forth a couple of times before leaving them to enjoy the afternoon.  Each time we approached the nest from the river side (opposite direction from above), Mom or Dad took off to try to draw us away from the nest.

If you look closely, you will see one of the fairly good sized babies near the parent's feet .  Lastly, one of parent and juvenile in the nest:

We will definitely be keeping our eye on them and I'll try to get more images as they grow!
