Hello, just thought I would pop in here and say hi. There are two main things I want to point out.

 

1) When registering as a new user if you don't use your FB or Twitter account you can't sign up. You all have the old version of Google Recaptcha which is no longer supported. Please upgrade your recaptcha, it's very easy I just did it for a bunch of sites the other day.

 

2) When selecting my gear there is no option for the D850! How can the new flagship of Nikons cameras not be listed! So disheartening when I seen that it was missing.

 

Anyways, I'm just a newbie photographer who is trying to take cool pics like everyone else... Nothing special...

Fixed, and I've added the D850 too.  Any other models that might have slipped through the cracks over the years?

You are missing the Coolpix l840. It's relatively newish, from 2015, so it should be here!

your catcha is terrible.  purple letters on purple background, etc, etc, ad nauseum.  15 tries to get it work.  then it won't accept the password I set.  do the password reset thing and it won't accept the emailed password.  I'm copy/pasting directly from the email.    Than, after a dozen or so tries, it suddenly and for no apparent reason works.  is the whole site this screwed up?

I agree, it's quite bad.  I've just disabled it for now, since we don't really have any other options after recaptcha v1 was killed off by google.  I'll have to upgrade the forum to something that supports the latest recaptcha.
