Hi Everybody,

Im new to the forums, haven't been shooting long really (2 years or so). I like to shoot Sports, portraits, landscapes and animals. Based on the Wirral (just over the water from Liverpool UK if you don't know it)

I originally started out with a D3300 and the 50mm 1.8 but after about 6 months or so picked up an A6000 at a bargain price £150 with a 50mm 1.8 so made the jump over to Sony.

That being said, when i look back at all of my photos i seem to prefer the ones i took with my Nikon for some reason.  It feels like all of the features they pack into the Sony cameras, while very good, to me  it makes me feel lazy and takes away from of the technical know how. Plus the price of the glass is crazy!! So i'm looking to dust off my D3300 and get back into the swing of things and try to learn my way around the camera again.

Looking forward to being part of the community here  :)
