Today I decided to take the Nikon out and put it to work.  And work it did.  Had to fight wind gusts on a lovely Spring Day.  I started out using my tripod (which is useless against wind gusts), so I tried hand held which gave better opportunities to snap away as soon as the wind subsided.  I must say, I am impressed with the way images turned out even without a tripod.  Could be that this Nikon outfit is so well balanced, there is hardly any shaking going on.  Peter, again many thanks for recommending this outfit.
