Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 29 April 2018, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style—just give us your best shot.

If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

P.S. Peter is running a fun single-lens challenge--everyone is welcome to play. Just look for the One Week, One Camera, One Lens thread in the mini-challenge forums.

P.P.S. The editing exercises are taking a break at the moment, but feel free to play around in the old exercises.

Model: NIKON D700
Lens (mm): 35 (Tamron 28-75/2.8)
ISO: 200
Aperture: 7.1
Shutter: 1/2000
Exp. Comp.: -2.0

The underexposure combined with a polarizer made the looming rain clouds even more ominous.

I was at the right place and the right time to catch this beautiful bird in flight.

Great night shot Peter. Good shot Snell.  I can't seem to get that type of shot without  blur.

I spent the week in Orlando for a conference and got out for some photo hunting a couple of evenings.  This is one of my favorites from the week.

If any of you out there are Ohio State fans, then this image is for you...for everyone else, it is a tree that we have on our property.  We did not even know that it bloomed like that...It is called a Buckeye Tree...Taken with my iPhone...

We got out on the boat for the first time this spring and went for a short ride on Saturday...we were just up the creek from our house and found a school of over 100 rays.  In this case, a very poor iPhone image, but I was more concerned with "driving" than I was photography at the time...Editing to add that many of the rays had at least a 3 foot wing span from tip to tip...they weren't tiny!

Hopefully better images coming this next week...
